Risk Limits
Daily Loss
You may not lose more than 3% of your account value per day.
At 17:00 EST (market rollover), your Daily Loss Limit is recalculated based on the higher of:
- Your Balance (excluding open trades)
- Your Equity (including open trades)
Example: If your Balance is $10,000 and your Equity is $10,500 at 17:00 EST, the Daily Loss Limit for the next day will be 3% of $10,500 = $315.
Static Drawdown
Your maximum loss is limited to 6% of your starting balance.
Example: with $10,000 starting balance, your account can’t drop below $9,400.
Max Lot Rule
Maximum Lot Rule sets clear limits on total lot sizes per asset class. Lot size limits apply to each asset class. Multiple positions within the same category are counted together when calculating the total volume.
Violating the Maximum Lot Rule will result in a full account reset.
The table below shows the maximum allowable lot sizes for IF Micro Pro Limited edition accounts. Review it carefully to ensure your trades stay within limits.

Risk per Trading Instrument
You may not risk more than 1% of your starting account balance at any time in one trade idea. A trade idea includes all open positions on a single instrument in the same direction (Buy or Sell). Exceeding this limit will result in a hard breach.
Payouts
Profit withdrawals are available every 14 days, starting from your first trade, once all of the following conditions are met:
- At least 4 trading days completed
- Your best trading day must not exceed 25% of your total profit
Example: If your total profit is $1,000, your best day must be $250 or less - Your net profit must reach at least 5% of your starting balance
Once these are met, you can request a payout at any time from your dashboard.
How to request a withdrawal:
- Make sure all conditions are met and all active trades are closed.
- Go to your dashboard and choose your preferred withdrawal method.
- Choose the amount.
Prohibited Practices and Strategies
Certain strategies and behaviors are not allowed and may result in account termination or profit removal. This includes:
- One-sided bets
- Grid trading
- High-frequency trading (trades under 60s or excessive volume)
- Copy trading between unrelated accounts
- Usage of public third-party expert advisors
- Reverse trading and group hedging
- Group copying/Account management
- Account churning (Rolling)
- Exploiting system glitches
- Exploiting inefficiencies of trading platforms

News Trading
News trading is not permitted. You may not open or close trades within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact news event. You can find the full list of affected news events here.
Holding Rules
You’re allowed to keep trades open overnight. Weekend holding is not allowed. Make sure to close all positions before the market closes on Friday to avoid a breach.
Instrument Commissions
Commission-free accounts have no commissions. The following commissions apply exclusively to RAW spreads accounts:

Account Limits
You can hold multiple accounts, with a combined starting balance of up to $300,000.
Scaling does not count toward your limit — only starting balances are used.
Scaling
You can increase your balance up to 100% of your original starting balance by growing your account by at least 10% over a 90-day period. Each time you achieve this, you’ll receive a 25% increase to your starting balance.
The process is simple:
- Increase your balance by 10% or more and ensure at least 90 days have passed since account opening
- Contact support at support@instantfunding.com with subject “Scaling Request”. Include your Account ID and confirm your 10%+ gain and 90+ day account age
- That’s it! Our team will verify your achievement and add 25% of your starting balance to your account
You can repeat this process every 90 days, gradually increasing your account size up to double the original amount.
Inactivity
If no trades are placed within 60 days of your account purchase or after the last trade, your account will be automatically closed.
