Stops, targets and closing out — all handled from the Open Positions tab.
In short: everything you need sits in the Open Positions tab — set a stop loss or take profit with the + buttons, or close the trade with the × on the right.
The Open Positions tab
View and modify your active trades here. Each open trade gets a row showing its ID, symbol, open time, volume, side, open and current price, stop loss, take profit, swap, commission and running profit.
An open position, with the + controls for stop loss and take profit and the × to close.
Add or modify a stop loss
Click the + button in the STOP LOSS column on the trade’s row, then enter your level. If a stop is already set, click the value to change it.
Set a take profit
Same again in the TAKE PROFIT column — click the + and enter the level at which you want the position closed in profit.
A value of 0.00 in either column means no level is set, so the position will run until you close it manually or a rule closes it for you.
Close a position
Click the × at the right-hand end of the row to close that trade at the current market price. To act on several at once, use SELECT to tick multiple rows.
The other tabs
Alongside Open Positions you’ll find:
- Pending Orders
- Entries waiting to trigger — amend or cancel them here
- Finance
- Swap and commission charges on your account
- Closed Positions
- Your trade history, with realised profit and loss
Expand list opens the panel to full height, and the download icon exports your positions — useful when reviewing your own trading records.
Worth remembering: your daily loss and drawdown limits are measured on equity including open trades, so an unhedged position left running overnight still counts against them. Check your programme’s holding rules before leaving trades open.
