Trading hours, maximum lot, trading holidays and market depth for every symbol — all in one panel.
In short: turn on the Active Symbol Panel from the layout menu in the toolbar, or press Shift + E.
Open the layout menu
In the toolbar along the top of the cTrader window, click the panel-layout icon — the third button along, just right of “New Order”. A short menu drops down.

Enable the Active Symbol Panel
Select Active Symbol Panel (right). The panel opens down the right-hand side of the chart. A tick appears beside it in the menu when it’s on.

Selecting the option again hides the panel, so the same menu item toggles it on and off.
Read the specifications
With the panel open, select any symbol to see its full specifications.
- Trading hours
- Session open and close times for the symbol
- Maximum lot
- Largest position size the platform will accept
- Trading holidays
- Dates the symbol isn’t tradeable
- Market depth
- Live order book for the symbol
The platform’s maximum lot is a technical limit and is not the same as your programme’s Max Lot Rule. Your account limits are set per asset class and are listed on the Maximum Lot Sizes page.
